Hi,

I'm Sue Vincent and my role at Victoria Road Primary School is to support the well-being and attendance of children in our community. As the Family Liaison Officer, I work closely with families, schools and other agencies to identify and address any issues that may be affecting a child's attendance, behaviour and overall well-being.

If you, your children or your family have any worries or concerns, I am available to offer support and advice. I can help you to access support in the Ashford area, eg parenting workshops, mental health services.

Having someone available to talk to can make a real difference, especially for parents with children navigating the challenges and emotions of school, and sometimes home life. I'm here to offer a listening ear to adults and children, and I'm here to listen if you need an informal chat too!

Throughout the school year there will be opportunities for parents to be more involved in school life, through activities like coffee mornings, craft sessions, Christmas Fayre and Quiz Nights. I'm hoping this will continue to strengthen the school community and we welcome parent involvement.

I work five mornings a week, and Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons.
