At Victoria Road we warmly welcome you to join our 'Friends of Victoria Road' parent and carer support group. This is a group of parents and carers who work together to support the school in raising money, helping at events, sharing ideas for fundraising or voicing suggestions from other parents in their class.

There is no large commitment, we just welcome you to turn up to the meetings you can and offer any time you may have.

Reasons for joining 'Friends of Victoria Road'

1. Your child benefits. Our 'Friends' are an important part of the school and help to enrich children's school experience. Our fundraising has provided extras for the school such as the Trim Trail, Speakers for Assemblies, Sports equipment and treats for children on special occasions.

2. It's a way of getting to know your school community. Different parents come to different meetings but it is a good way for you to meet some familiar faces around the school and to get to know them better. 

3. Have your voice heard. These meetings are a great way to share any thoughts on how things could be changed, adapted or added to the school calendar to support the learning and development of all children.
